I think we can all agree that we've run into an artist who create kick ass work, and think "UGGGH HOW THE F*CK CAN YOU BE THAT GOOD?!". A lot of people out there are simply freaks of nature. Dodho takes those freaks of nature and smacks you across the face with that amazing work, featuring these very artists. But for this very reason, Dodho has been a part of my artistic journey as I’ve enjoyed the work they share in their Dodho magazine features.
I have submitted to a few of their open submissions on occasion but honestly, due to the caliber of the artists they feature, I figured (like many times before) it was a crap shoot for me. If anything, I saw it more as a way to show support for the cause so to speak. So it truly came as a shock to have received the email from Dodho that my work was selected for their 29th Issue of their ongoing magazine. I was even luckier that this email made it to my inbox, since their prior emails actually went to my spam folder. So I nearly missed the opportunity!

I said at the beginning that there are artists who are impossibly creative. So much so, that it seems one can never reach such heights. But of course these artists help propel us to stay creative, stay inspired, and keep us striving for better. I submitted my work “Seafood Markets in Korea” where my experience at the market was captivating, seeing the passion and micro culture that existed in these markets. I'm glad that Dodho was able to provide an opportunity to share that experience.
