DELAYED - COPENHAGEN
5 hours, 198 passengers, alone in an Airport.
Copenhagen, Denmark. The 9pm flight had an issue with the front cabin door not opening upon arrival. The airline announced that they would have to fly an engineer from Dublin (our destination) to resolve the issue, pushing our departure back to 2am.
I never knew that after 11pm, shops go dark, machines fall silent, and the once bustling hub becomes an eerily spacious shell. This is what happens when a photographer has 6 hours to kill in Copenhagen Airport.
